Project Details
Long’s Jewelers was a new construction retail building that was designed specifically for the fine jewelers. NorthPoint erected an expansive steel structure throughout the winter season that eventually housed Long’s Jewelers, and other retail tenants. The team worked through the cold winter months to complete the construction of the new retail building, and an addition onto Jordan’s Furniture. The addition housed Jordan’s expanded showrooms and floats above an additional vehicle entrance into the new parking lot. Exterior finishes were added in a cohesive manner that contrasted the two tenants, but maintained the two structures as one. NorthPoint constructed unique design elements to establish the new store into the fabric of Nashua’s primary retail district. The Northeast corner of the building is illuminated with LED back-lighting to create feature walls on the facades, while the massive steel structure supports the expansion of Jordan’s Furniture Store via a pedestrian bridge between the two buildings.
