Avaloch Farm is a farmhouse-inspired music retreat in rural New Hampshire, for classically trained musicians. The campus includes dwelling units, acoustically treated practice spaces for groups or individuals, a communal dining room, and full commercial kitchen. NorthPoint worked through zoning ordinances that demanded the need to connect all independent buildings by a covered walk to maintain “one building”. We met requirements and approvals from the State of NH for a community water system, including 10,000 gallon storage capacity for domestic and fire protection needs. NorthPoint coordinated installation of fire pump controls, hydroponic water boilers, and water treatment systems, centrally located in the lower level of the dining facility.
