Project Details
NorthPoint was honored to take on this existing building tenant ft-up for Community Action Partnership of Hillsborough and Rockingham Counties, located in Derry, NH. From the start, this project was a challenge in itself. Our client needed to remain open to the town and continue serving those in need. CAPHR was a four-phase project, each with its own unique challenges, from missing main sewer lines to
accommodating daily nap times without disturbance.
NorthPoint handled each physical challenge appropriately, and the team on-site performed their duties as expected. NorthPoint took the time to delegate and manage the task of locating and rerouting the main sewer line to reduce costs and allow for a more efficient and smooth sewer flow. No more diapers clogging and backing up the pump! Because this was an existing building with two occupied tenants, NorthPoint had to stay on schedule and ensure everyone remained operational. Abatement challenges appeared in Phase 1, requiring long days and weekend work to keep the facility open and ready for the following week.
NorthPoint’s team worked closely with CAPHR’s team and the Director of Strategic Growth Initiatives to achieve a revamped and updated space for those in need within the Town of Derry. From a new and improved welcoming front façade to a state-of-the-art pour-and-play playground for the kids to enjoy as they learn and play, this project delivered meaningful upgrades. This was another job well executed, despite its challenges and one we are proud of for the growth and partnerships made along the way.
