Project Details
The existing 4,800 SF Cassandra’s Salon and Spa renovations included demolishing the entire interior space, leaving only four existing spa massage rooms and reconfiguring the use of space to provide a more inviting and modern environment. The project spanned from March 2020 through January 2021. The layout was a challenge as the size of the space remained the same, but more services for clients and employees needed to be provided. This required a creative layout, efficient use of space, and timeless luxury finishes. A variety of custom millwork was included throughout the salon to specifically suit their needs. NorthPoint faced many challenges during construction, including the need for the salon to remain operational during the renovation. In response to this task, our team built-out a temporary salon in an adjacent vacant retail area. This temporary space included provisions for 24 salon stations with dedicated power, work surfaces and mirrors. Also provided were relocated shampoo chairs on a raised platform to conceal plumbing and avoid saw-cutting into the existing floor slab. At the completion of the project, the temp space would need to be restored to its original state, per the Landlord's requirements.
