Project Details

A previous apple orchard, The NorthPoint design/build team secured approval from the Londonderry Planning Board in September 2012 with an official Ground Breaking event held on October 14, 2012. The orchard would become the site of a new church to be built in a total of two phases. Phase 1 included the Initial construction of a 6,000 SF sanctuary large enough to seat 300 people, as well as a narthex and support space. Phase 2 is an additional optional 3,000-5,000 SF office & classroom wings. The church was delivered in an 8-month period, and is currently undergoing design for the Second Phase to provide space for learning and further growth. The NorthPoint design team working on this project joined the Church, its congregation, and the community to participate in the symbolic stake-driving event. These stakes outlined the footprint of the new building, and celebrated the beginnings of the project. NorthPoint was honored to take part in the ceremonious occasion and to get involved with our clients and the community!
